Lucy Saxon has always had her head in a fictional world, reading veraciously from day one.
Growing up, Lucy spent more time in the saddle than with two feet on the ground, spending any free time they could around horses. That changed when they were diagnosed with M.E./CFS at the age of twelve, after a lengthy period of illness.
From then on, her life was far less active, and she became more interested in delving into fictional worlds - eventually deciding to create her own. This led first to the world of Fanfiction, then eventually to NaNoWriMo, which led to their debut novel, Take Back the Skies, published at the age of nineteen.

Lucy has since written two more books in the Tellus series, and then decided to become a cowboy on a ranch in Arkansas, taking advantage of a period of better health to reconnect with her love of horses. Several years later, they call England home once more, and have a whole host of ideas to bring to life.
‘More superb science fiction for YAs - Lucy takes elements of Star Wars and Star Trek and weaves them around a child's desperate hunt for something different... Brilliant!’
